В международном проекте меня попросили ответить на ряд вопросов по технологическим возможностям Интернета нашего университета с целью дальнейшего использования его возможностей в учебном курсе. Кроме первого, на другие никак не могу ответить. Не поможе мне разобраться - что они имеют ввиду? Буду очень благодарна за помощь.
Issues of Technology
Does your University have a primary (centrally supported) LMS? If so, what is it? Yes, it is. It’s Learning Management System or E-learning.
Does the LMS have the capability of displaying navigation and core functions in other languages?
Does your University have a support system in place to facilitate adding content and potentially adding non-students?
How and by whom will the students be added into the LMS? What information is needed to do this? How will their login credentials be distributed and by whom? -
Please describe the bandwidth (speed and capacity of your Internet connection e.g. slow, fast etc.) available to you and your students at your institution, and potentially at home, to support this real-time online engagement.
Do you or your students pay by megabyte, for data usage on the Internet? And is this a limitation to you and your students’ use of the internet. -
